We are pleased to announce that, following a rigorous search, the Board of Trustees of Partners for Development has selected Mr. Waleed (Will) Rabieh as the organization’s new Executive Director, effective February 1, 2026.

Will Rabieh brings a long history of leadership in the nonprofit and international development sectors, with deep expertise in agriculture, trade, and program delivery. He previously served with the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service, where he supported U.S. agricultural engagement abroad and worked closely with a wide range of public and private stakeholders. Following his government service, Will has continued to support NGOs and implementers in designing and managing programs that strengthen communities and building practical partnerships connecting producers, markets, and institutions. This blend of experience, spanning public service and nonprofit implementation, positions him to provide continuity, operational rigor, and strategic growth for PfD’s portfolio and mission.

The Board also extends its sincere appreciation to long-time Executive Director Jack Marrkand for his years of dedicated service and for his leadership in launching and sustaining PfD programs and projects. Jack will continue to support the organization as a member of the PfD Advisory Board, helping preserve institutional memory and ensure a smooth leadership transition.
